Animar, in Portuguese, means to liven people up — to warm a room until it wants to stay. Not to book it. Not to sell it.

This site is the host’s home base for doing that on the Emerald Coast: Destin, Miramar Beach, Fort Walton, HarborWalk Village, Crab Island, the 30A towns — Seaside, Grayton, Rosemary, Santa Rosa Beach — and the occasional Pensacola Saturday.

She posts a trip. You say you’re in. A weekend that would have stayed a maybe becomes a table, a boat, a stretch of sugar sand with enough people on it.
