   How to run it

   1. Best window: about ninety minutes before sunset. Late September sunset here is roughly 6:30 p.m. CDT; November comes earlier. Check that week.
   2. Leave from Destin Harbor. East Pass is the cut to the open Gulf. Public sunset cruises and private charters both run from this harbor — compare that week. No official partner.
   3. Group size: six to twelve feels like a gathering, not a boat tour.
   4. Confirm the wind. Chop in East Pass ruins the romance. Bring a light layer — the harbor cools when the sun drops.
